I've started a new adventure! This one involves being a civilian again. In honor of my new lack of accountability I cut my hair into the begginings of a mohawk. Its been an interesting experience having everyone even more intimidated even when Im getting the door for them or smiling lol. So last thing left to do is fly home. The U.S. Army has left me very jaded. I'm tired of middle eastern countries.... I'm tired of my brother knowing me as a mythical figure. Thats more than enough for me to leave the miltary and Hawaii... I flew back to San Fran the 18th with a bag of clothes, a laptop, a .40 sig saur pistol and a very confused teenage male black cat with the most badass snaggle tooth a cat ever had! I love being back in a place where street signs have names in english. On the drive north I let Alvin out of is carry bag and he got out and sat on my lap the whole way while watching the early morning fog and street lights as they flew by. As we drove I thought about how strange it is to be completely comfortable with change on a weekly if not daily basis. New countries, new climates, new cultures, faces and finally a few that I had rarely seen for so long. I am home with a new sense of purpose. My brother Logan is close to being ejected from the public school system and doesnt seem to mind. I left high school my sophomore year but tested out at a senoir level. I dont think he has been through enough school to do the same. I hope Im strong enough and smart enough to be the kind of catalyst Logan needs...

After talking to him for a few days he seems very interested in hearing what I have to say. I dont think he has ever had someone teach him to view society and the world around him from an outside perspective. I can't blame him I havent met many people who do on their own either. I've been fortunate to have free thinking intelligent people around me while I grew. Learning that being a man means sacrificing my own desires...
