makes me happy: My cat, fish aquariums, and gecko, basically my zoo. Hanging out with friends, dancing, listening to great music, and going to shows always makes me smile!

Wow, it's March already (actually almost April) and this is my second blog of the new year! Gotta stay more in touch with my peeps, but so much has been going...please forgive me!
1) I was hoping to have some good news to post at this time about the job hunt saga, but alas, I do not. Still looking for a job as a scientist in the NY area. I think I fall into the category of being too qualified because of my doctorate degree but then under qualified for not having enough work experience, or companies just don't want to pay me the big bucks I deserve. I dunno, still trying to figure it out.
I try to stay positive and say that when one door closes, another opens, but when will that happen?!??? I know it takes time to find the right job, but dammit, enough already! Thanks to all who have been sending love and support my way during this difficult time. Your encouragement means a lot to me! 2) I've been toying with the idea of taking down some sets. I've already took down my first set, that was quite bad. Which other ones do you want to see go? Or should any others be deleted??
3) I got another kitten...her name is Elphaba!
Any guesses as to where her name comes from??
