Okay I gave up on the glasses thing- nowhere had them it was all dead ends. I ordered a new pair. Snuck in to a sweet little shop that had no idea what they were in for. I know it was a little wrong of me but thankfully I got a sweet deal. Sadly I was off by a few numbers re: my prescrip and that was slightly frightening but maybe someday I'll qualify for lasik eyeballs.
Anyway wah wah aside...
I'm looking for some e-help for a project I'm working on and hoping to get a decent deal somewhere. I'm looking for:
- A french proofreader/ editor- that charges per page as opposed to per word. Who knows BDSM/ Sexy phrases.
- A graphic artist to create one to two background (website ) images in black and white or greyscale in a chinese or japanese painting / brushy brusherson style- landscape with one animal, mainly trees and plants
- Someone amazing at making banners (flash or just flashy) and headers ( I think I need 3 different ones)
-TFP photographers- all over the place. Seeking to shoot genderfuck, fashion ,art shots, non nude- not to sell, not for zivity. If you know someone interested, especially if they are awesome and have a bit of experience, let
s do this.
^^ Related to that- some of it we can work out for trade, some can be favours if you feel like it- and I can certainly work out a proper work deal if you have time to tackle it in the near future ...
I'm also looking for recommendations for:
- The best place to get a decent price custom latex / pvc ensemble made
-Where I can but Escante lingerie online, especially the green dress posted first here
-to find the name of the custom rubber bsdm tool company based out of NH or MA, maybe maine?? I saw some products at a store in boston but it was the worst customer service of my life so I'd rather but direct. Long rubber floggers, small company. Help?
- Decently priced hostels/ hotels/ couches in Chicago?
So here's where I am presently. Being pushed into a new direction. Gonna put my thoughts into numbers here:
1) Moved out of my home. I needed to go somewhere artsy, with more space, with more of my space. I was living in a cement jungle tree fort but there were no leaves.
2) Tried to get into a sweet loft space but it was bait and switch and 1/3 of the space they had quoted me. Other places I've been looking into have been full of bugs or terrible. So I figured okay, fuck my own place, let's get a bedroom in some student hole- just so I have a closet. I would explain my situation to people and they thought I was broke and not able to afford my last place so why take me- that was weird. Some asked my country of origin. Not living anywhere that asks for that or my age. Or writes me back saying- you'll get another job- wtf? I never mentioned my work- I'm fine thanks. So that's been all sorts of weirdness.
3) The person who was meant to move into my old place when I left, had a breakdown. Showed up to view 3 days and 5 hours late because she was in a K hole. Kept calling me at work. So I denied her and turned the place into a wrestling studio for a month. That was FUN
A tease of what could be.
4) Travel, I went to Buffalo and NYC, and Boston- had a blast in all places, now packing up for Calgary, with NS and Chicago on the horizon, as well as returns to Boston, NYC and maybe philly- maaaybe, as well as A Cal- Van duo. I had hoped to make it to Van and ECCC but there was some Air Canada weirdness and it wasn't working out in time so I had to drop it.
5) The cons- being in desperate need of space enough to bounce asap and getting the exact opposite. The pros" being forced to focus on the things that need to get done that don't need things. Paper work for one.. :S but it's worth getting done. I feel stuck and i'm super anxious to get started... but at least in this case i'll have even more of the winter paper work done before I spring into spring. It's 24 degrees out there now tank top and sandal weather fyi.
6) My mail addy - for those of you that write me- is still the Same! That's the beauty of a P.O Box. I'm behind in some letters, and didnt get some till recently due to all my travels, but the replies are headed out the door each day...
7) Will not be coming to Hell City, ECCC, Fan Expo. Will be at Anime North and Atomic Lolly, Nuit blanche (T.O.), Black Rock, and I honestly cannot think of another event at the moment even though I know there are a ton more.
8) I'm slightly bored. I'm either not challenged enough or have too much boring paperwork on my desk. I can't tell. It's not causing all over assness, it's just a side note in the margin. I'm still learning sweet stuff.
9) I have someone amazing in my life. I mean, I've always had lots of those, and I appreciate them, but, I met someone very similar and yet altogether different from me- who was always sort of just outside the circle of my life that I could see, overlapping in more places than I knew of. We were in the same scene of the same movie and one of the best things this person ever did for me, was teach me how to relax. Like actually. Its amazing how bad at it I was. and am. I've always been tightly wound and I'm not unwinding like crazy per se.. but I've had moments where I wasn't needed to do everything and that's a start. I find that for example, when most people drink people understand that they may not be so reliable. I've never had that window out of being responsible- and I get that everyone is responsible for their actions- but I mean, I would have a 2 glass wine buzz on and people NEED me to get some shit done, sober in a hurry? Oh yeah. So thats why I don't usually get into the sauce or the anything. That and because I can be a flailing weirdo with no intoxicants. Anyway blabbety blah
Aside from that, I'm reading more chinese histories each day at a time.. and busting my hump to make some magic happen

Okay, I have a dilemma. I need to find a pair of glasses, that I broke to replace the broken ones I have taped together on my face.
I need the exact ones, is the problem- or I'd shop at zenni/ wherever else you get your glasses, that would be sweet but..

Vogue 2382 in Black, Red, Black with sparkles- I don't care what colour at this point. Colour code preferred 1345, length thingy 49-15. They have been impossible to track down. I bought a pair - so I thought- from some website but they aren't here and arent responding to anything I write or any calls so, I figure it's a scam. While I work with reporting them to my CC company, I'd like to try again.....
