However forwardly I face you
however unabashed I am
these blazing hips, this
open-chested stance
it's only half the truth.

see how loosely, how
thinly tethered to the green I am
continually stepping off my stem
into the cobalt air
where the magenta I meet
mingles with my belly's
yellow fire
and I am charged
with the task of
