Jeez I'm soo out of the loop I am not sure who to even contact anymore! I want to be archived from the site. I know there has been a lot of drama going on around here and frankly I know nothing about it and really don't care to... Although the one thing I have to say is the lack of respect, name-calling, etc. between the girls has spurred my thinking- and I feel like even though my resignation doesn't have to do with any of this drama it is unavoidable not to voice my incredible disgust in this behavior. I am ashamed and dissappointed that people who represent us as "being confident and strong" sgs would treat eachother in this manner. This has been disappointing whether you view SG as the business it is or not. It now just feels like the right time to close the SG chapter in my life!
I am a "strong, confident woman" who owns her own business, is married and lives a wonderful life, plays roller derby, has a masters degree, and lives a busy full every day! I really haven't had the time for SG in a long while and don't feel it needs to be a part of my lifestyle in the future. I am grateful for the opportunities that SG has given me and the girls that I have met that truly DO embody the strong woman that this site is supposed to support and represent.

I'm in for a loooonnnngggg week with my business partner (and brother) being gone on his honeymoon to beautiful Costa Rica. Just me in charge. Let's pray we all keep afloat.

Thursday I'm headed to Tahoe to relax in the sun, raft down some rivers, skate outside (instead of the stuffy rink) and drink alot of BEER. All hail vacations!

Americans love to blow up things don't they? That's apparently what we do best.
My homefront was a warzone last night... although, I admit I had to venture out to watch the spectacle. Who could resist some bursts of colored flames lighting up the sky? Some pomegranite vodka, one of my best friends, and the boy and we were all smiles. I went to bed around 11:00 and the last thing I saw out my window as I closed my eyes was some beautiful blue bursts of color. A seemingly perfect 4th of July.
