are any of you here fans of this show? i suppose this is more of a question for our european friends.

if you are from the states, and don't know what i am talking about, think 'good eats', but for cars, and an hour long, and unreltingly clever and entertaining. if you haven't seen it, you don't know what you are missing.

I love this Brittish shit... I may just move to England.

Seriously, the show rules. I liked the one where the guy raced an airplane...

yeah, it does rule. when they were half an hour, it was poor, but ever since it chnaged format and become 1 hour, oh yes.

Clarkson on the full Nurburgring was hilarious. As was the Atom. And anything to do with the caravans. Like the bus trying to jump them. Or the car tryig to jump the bouncy castles. I'll stop now. biggrin

Never heard of the show. The game rocked. Good Eats is my favorite show on Food Network.

Clarkson used to annoy me, and he still kind of does, but I do like the new Top Gear. He is a clever man.

Fantastic program. I can even overlook Jeremy Clarkson's annoying presenting style. The show's that good.

Top Gear's great and so is Fifth Gear. When Adrian whips out the infant to prove that the Renault Vel Satis isn't ugly enough make a baby cry? Hilarious.

I saw the episode where they just ragged on the Corvette with their cruel British wit. It was pretty brutal.

I'm not even a car guy but I enjoy the show very, very much because of the humor and clever bits.

just how f*cking ugly must Stig (that race driver character) be? why else does he never take his helmet off?

or maybe he's wanted by the cops or something....

this show is definatley one of my 'guilty pleasures'.
It's everything I usaully hate but somehow it just works brilliantly.

I think it's just the complete & utter irreverence shown to absolutley everything. How can you not love it!!!

He doesn't take his helmet off as they change the driver. There were rumours that it was Damon Hill a couple of years ago, but it seems that now this guy is Stig, or at least he was. Where's Tiff these days, hmmmm?

Ah yes, remember Clarkson's Jag vs. BMW (to him, England vs. Germany) skit? If i recall the BMW won the race until he got a Jaguar tank...

It's great, the 'new' format makes it one of the best shows on TV at the moment.
