Name your cheap regional beer!

Fat Tire ... yummmmmm We just started getting Fat Tire in Fargo hear about a year ago and its great! A bit more than 4 bucks a 6-pack though!

I just tried it once and I had the worst hangover in my entire life.

If you find yourself up near Calgary, the cheapest-piss poor beer would be AGD, (Alberta Genuine Draft). It's the kind of beer you only drink if you're already too drunk to taste anything anymore, and all the other beer is gone.

TED (Tooheys Extra Dry) seems to be the go-to cheap standard. It's not bad, but it aint great either.
VB (Victoria Bitter) - only resort to this if your counting pennies.

When I think lawnmower beer I think Straub's, but Yuengling is right down the road.

I dig Green Man Brewery's Fiddlehead Stout.

Anchor is reasonably cheap, but I agree it is not in the Olympia/Busch/Bell/Yeungling category.

It was always cheap, until it got popular, now it's only moderately cheap. But it's very good.

I think I've tried that one a few times when I was living in Ireland a few years back. I seem to recall many a snide joke about the name with my friends
