FUCK THIS BULLSHIT.

I'm seriously pissed the fuck off.

... because passes for an extremely popular event sold out before you bought one? Whose fault is that, exactly?

Who said I blamed others? It's never good to presume.

I'd like to try to go one more time before I grow tired of Cons, but I guess 11 consecutive years was enough.

But...but...I've never even gone once! blackeyed
I have to ask a dumb question because I come from a little backwater village called Australia and our comic conventions are downright primitive compared to yours.
These one day passes that go on sale in the 15th, is that just a regular ticket to get into the Con? There is absolutely no chance they sell them at the door or anything, right?
Sorry to ask, but I really want to go to this before I head back to Aus, so I have to make sure.
Thanks! smile

^^^ Yes, they're one day passes to the Con on whichever day you purchase, as opposed to the 4-day passes that get you into the Con for, well, a 4 days. Once upon a time I think they sold them at the door, but chances are they're going to sell out this year.

When I lived in San Diego I would have reluctantly bought single day passes, but now, since I have to make a trip, I really would like the 4-day.

Aw, hamburgers.

Ouch. I suppose that's OK, I had only planned to visit for one or two days anyway.

The two biggest downsides to having day passes are the cost and the fact that you have to pick up a new badge each day. Thankfully, they've gotten really good at moving people through the pickup line pretty quickly.

Isn't there a separate Twilight convention now? There should be; it's really got nothing to do with comics...

(This abomination doesn't count)

ComicCon is about a lot more than comics, and has been for at least the past decade.

Ok next dumb question!

It's a two-parter...
1) Does anyone know if the tickets will go on sale at midnight on the 14th, or in the morning of the 15th at start or business hours?
2) Can you only buy them online at the official site?

Thanks again smile

1) I think so, but cannot say for certain.
2) Yes.

I know. I just wanted an excuse to post the Stephenie Meyer comic without appearing to endorse it.

One Day tickets are sale at the site now. You can buy more than one day, you'll just need to buy them seperately. But no chance they'll be any left for door sales (they sold out like 3months ahead last year and its worse this year).
