No arguments here. It's probably the most realistic fight scene ever, if you think about it.

^^HA! That was great. The end was very gruesome and I loved the line, "yeah, see ya."

HA!

Please keep these coming.

I'm sorry there is nothing better than this. I win. This thread can be closed now.

i'm gonna have to go with the autism vs tourettes muay that vs capoeira fight from Chocolate:

on the face of it, it's horribly un-PC; the idea of pitting people with special needs against each other in a fight is pretty offensive. but the fight scene--like all the fight scenes in this movie--is done so damn well that it goes from horribly offensive to gutbustingly funny and totally badass.

if you like good fight scenes, watch this movie. watch it without subtitles if at all humanly possible, because the subtitles i've encountered have uniformly come from the dark side--a world which no man should see.

From the fabulous documentary DIG!, witness the Brian Jonestown Massacre fist fight it out live during an industry showcase. Speed to 1:47.

Now that's professionalism!

The Machine Girl is packed with hilarious over the top fight scenes, but the opening is probably my favorite. Awesomely bad CGI and blood fountains > all.

I gotta go with Bartlebee on this one. The realism in the hallway is brilliant, and then capping it off with the sight gag of all the guys falling out of the elevator? Inspired.

I agree about oldboy as well. everybody just seems so human-- good at fighting, but getting exhausted, kind of nervous-- the fact that they clearly aren't action movie supermen makes every punch look painful. and that knife in his back just seems to hang there for fucking ever.
