I caught it the night Russell Brand and the Diggnation guys were on. Was impressed with the guests, and obviously with the fact that the house band is the roots. The talent booker is doing a great job. However Fallon seems like a dull bulb. Brand was playing him like a fiddle and I don't think he even realized.

Fallon is sort of, well, boring - in a non-entertaining boring way. I hope they let him be himself - worked for Craig Furgeson and Conan Obrien... unless of course this is himself.

Does anyone not like that there is an audience sitting on shelves on the stage?

I don't know I kind of find it distracting. And it must make the performers uncomfortable.
