I'm not sure what I think of the TV show so far. I'm really not.

The radio show, however, is easily one of the best things in existence.

act 3, 'still life', on the 2nd episode of showtime's TAL; the one about the photographer that snapped the succession of photos of the woman that was swept away in the tidal surge, was one of the starkest, heaviest things i've seen in ages

I like the one about the house, and no one has lived there for years, and he goes and tries to unravel the story. The thing I like about him is his stories are so quiet and human.

ah, i found it: the house on loon lake

My 3rd ever SG journal entry relates that story to my own life.

I just have to share, really exciting -

This American Life from NPR and the Teenage Frames (my band).

This American Life used our recording of "Sign On The Dotted Line" for their most recent episode 409 titled "Held Hostage".

We didn't even know, and found out from a friend that heard it and told us, pretty darn cool I have to admit! So exciting, something happened!

Our big break finally here after 14 years, 7 records, 100's of shows, tours, and not playing together anymore. And yes, of course we are very happy that they actually used our recorded version of the song!
