Just a question, where can i purchase a fragmentation grenade here in the U.S?
They say we are the source and i just want to know.
It would be naive to think that, just because frags aren't sold in retail stores or during gun-shows that there is not a way to purchase them.
Yes, this is true, that there is a black market that is run by criminals and they sell dangerous weapons. If such a thing did not exist then where would other criminals get their weapons. But considering the logistics of it buying a hand grenade from this country is just silly. Are these definitely American hand grenades or com bloc knockoffs from Cuba or some other fun loving country? And if they are American hand grenades can you not trace them to the unit that they came from? I'm not try to start anything here, its just my curiosity.
The issue that Gun rights supporters refuse to ever admit is that guns make it easier for a person to kill. Any other method of killing a person takes a lot of effort and or time. Guns are quick and easy. You can almost feel like it did not happen and you can move on to whatever is next. Even if that next thing is firing another bullet. Yes people kill, always have and always will, but guns make it exponentially easier to kill.
Guns bring courage to cowards. And people that would never otherwise have killed become killers due to how easy guns make it to kill.

i don't know any gun rights supporters who don't recognize--and celebrate--that fact.

There is truth to what you say,in the hand of an individual who is weak minded or crazy, yes guns are dangerous. How ever it still reigns true that it is the person that is doing the killing as you said so yourself. This does not mean a person should not have the right to defend their lives or the lives of their loved ones if they are a "law biding, responsible citizen".
I live in Houston, and attended the University of Houston. I have to tell you that it gets a little scary there. It's suck in the middle of one of the most dangerous parts of the city. I was also raised in a family of gun owners, and honestly, there are no people that are safer with guns, in general, that those with concealed handgun permits. However, the idea of students on campus being armed scares me a little bit.
The very same people who would be armed in class are the very same people who are armed in Burger king, Barnes and nobles or on public transportation. They hold CHLs and they are trained and certified,at least in Texas and have been severely background checked by the state and FBI. These people are only executing their right to defend themselves in case their lives or the lives of someone around them is put in jeopardy. No they aren't rambos and vigilantes, they just are armed in case the need,God forbid, arises. At least that is why I carry, and no, I don't pull it out if i get into a fight or am having an argument. That is an irresponsible and vulgar display of power that shows a lack of cojones. In fact since ive been carrying i try not to get into fights or arguments because it is just plain "not worth it".
