Neil Gaiman is the author of the best-selling adult graphic novel of all time, Sandman, a multiple New York Times best-selling author (for Good Omens with Terry Pratchett, Coraline, and American Gods, among others), the screenwriter for film and television series based on his work, Neverwhere and the upcoming MirrorMask, and has won practically every award in existence short of the Nobel Peace Prize. Tori Amos even writes songs about him. Two of his newest works are the upcoming Sandman: Endless...

Fascinating.... There is a reason the expression "Gaiman is God" exists. Makes me want to go out and spend more money than I should on Sandman comics and hardback novels.

This is why I love this site... while I also love the great quantity of beautiful and naked women, there are things of great interests to me (gasp) such as this interview. There are people with similar interests and I love seeing interviews with people I admire so, like Gaiman, or Doug Marsch or the piece on Children of Dune. Thanks.

what a lovely fascinating thouroughly unique man. every interview of his i have ever read somehow manages to be the same yet completely different. as if it is one man but a thousand perspectives of him. thank you mr. daniels for yet another unique perspective and a terribly good interview.

as for mr. gaiman... hmm, there really are no words to convey the sheer sense of wonder his works have brought to me. not to mention the fact that i no longer think i am alone in seeing very bizarre, often torrid, always wonderful things in old faerie tales.

Great job, Keith. I really didn't think there was a whole lot I COULD learn from a Gaiman interview, I've read so many at this point. Little did I know. This was definitely one of the better Gaiman interviews I've read.

Another thing. Sometimes you read an interview with someone who's just anwsering the questions that are asked because that's sort of the point of an interview. Reading Gaiman's comments, it seemed to me that he found your questions interesting and insightful. He seemed to enjoy answering these questions, and a lot of his character ends up in the answers. Makes for an extremely intriguing inverview.

Thanks everyone! Really. Means a lot to me. kiss

Also don't forget the people that helped with some of the ideas for questions (they're linked at the bottom of the interview)!

I love Neil Gaiman. And I love that interview. Gaiman has so many interesting things to say, and Keith, you did an amazing job of keeping it all following. I've been away for the past few days, and this is the first thing I've read on SG since I've been back.

Gaiman is such a nice guy. I was lucky enough to hear him read Coraline live in Berkeley soon after it's release. You can see my pics of the event (not the best quality, because of my lack of photography skills) over at my website, if you like. http://www.standarddeviant.org/ngpics.html

Thanks Keith!

Sometimes I have doubts about things, like paying to access suicidegirls.com (I'm poor and I whine a lot).

After reading an interview like that, I truly cannot imagine not being here.
